Who we are, what we work for, and how we are registered.

Our history

Nepal Memorial Trust was registered on 2065/04/26 B.S. (2008) at the District Administration Office, Rautahat, and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (No. 25821).

Since then we have run skill training, health and sanitation campaigns, women's empowerment and environment programmes in Rajpur Municipality and nearby areas. Our work has been funded by the municipality, the Madhesh Province Government, federal ministries and partners such as UNICEF Nepal.

A Rautahat where every family has the skills, health and voice to live with dignity.

Mission

We work with communities, local government and partners to deliver practical training, health services and awareness programmes, with a focus on women, Dalit groups and young people.

Objectives

  • Provide education and job-ready skill training.
  • Improve health, nutrition and sanitation in villages.
  • Help women lead, earn an income and live free from violence.
  • Support young people to start businesses and find work.
  • Protect the environment and prepare communities for disasters.
